… cơ bản là dịp outing, vui chơi với nhau


Năm nay “no” với nhạc…

* Ngồi ở chỗ này cũng hay vì thấy rõ bác nhạc trưởng múa “đũa phép”, rất passionate và cool (!).

Rồi mò qua nghe nhạc hiện đại

* Cô này giọng không quá hay nhưng hát nhiệt tình và có hồn. Ông đánh guitar bass thiệt cool!

Tặng bó hoa chi cho mau héo =))


Còn lại thì tui cũng nghĩ ngày nào chẳng yêu, chẳng là valentine (iu ít hay nhiều thôi, hơ hơ) 😀

Hết Tết

Mai mọi người ở nhà bắt đầu đi làm lại. Tết hết thật rồi, hix… 

Còn 1 hôm nữa là quay lại Sing, thôi nghỉ ngơi 1 tuần rồi cũng được khá rồi. Dù sao cũng vẫn… bồi hồi, như mọi năm về cũng vậy.
Đã gần 2h đêm, ở nhà thế là thức khuya lắm. Viết linh tinh… Số là hôm nay may đi nghe được 1 bữa nhạc sướng tỉnh người ở Yoko, đánh nhạc tiếng Anh, phần nhiều là bài quen, nhưng hát hay, lead tốt, trống bốc. Nói chung là sướng… Rồi cũng nhớ lại cảm giác những lần về trước – tưởng đã xa lắm rồi :|. Lâu rồi không nghe nhạc kĩ…
Về lần này, có mấy cái được. 
Một là… đi được xe máy, chở được tía và chị (ai thân thì sẽ biết cái này “đặc biệt” thế nào với tui so với mấy năm trước). 
Hai là… gặp được cũng gần đủ bạn, bạn nào có tin vui thì mình cũng dzui theo. Biết được thêm vài quán cafe ở SG, thích nhất vẫn là Hi-end, hì…
Ba là… chụp được hình cho mấy bà chị (models của tui). Cũng run tay lắm…
Bốn là… đi chơi dzới nhà được. Cũng chỗ cũ, cách đây 2 năm thì tui đi trong khổ sở, giờ thì vừa đi vừa cong lưng chụp hình, hĩ hĩ
Năm là… (blah blah…)

Sang lại Sing cũng là vừa rồi nhỉ…? Năm nào cũng thế, sắp đi là lại mong tía má, người thân mạnh khỏe, bình an rồi năm sau mình lại mò về… 
Cứ cầu mong thế…

My favourite photos – 2008

Cuối năm báo chí hay có tít tổng kết cả năm – nên mình cũng “bon chen” làm post này :D. (tiếp theo sẽ viết tiếng Anh nhe)

1. Street

Taken in Shanghai – the photos give me a mixed
feeling between the old and modern life here.

2. People

Special supporter
I like candid shot but not good at that yet. Most of my attempts
to me are still considered as “nearly there”. Except for this one 😀

The wedding vow
Taken at my friend’s wedding. Love the light in this photo.

3. Landscape

A glimpse of light
Converting this typical sunset scene to BnW is fun and challenging to me.
No more golden colors of the sky but only the texture remains.
And without a fisherman, guess this photo would be far less interesting.

4. Flowers

Pure
You may find the “unusual” form of the leaves
& flowers in this photo interesting, like me. Or you may not 😛

5. Stuff (?)

The door is locked now...
“Unpleasing” symmetric composition –
but it works with the texture, doesn’t it?

What do I think?

…about photography 😐

That’s why I write them here, haha 😀

  • I often think of how to get good pictures with the camera that I’m holding, instead of thinking “what-if” I had “better” equipments. Save this thought when you want to upgrade your “gears” :D. Plus it will distract you from taking photos for sure :P.
  • Post-processing to me is like tasting & seasoning your dishes when cooking (inspired by watching Korean drama “Gourmet”, haha). If a dish does not smell good enough, you put onion, garlic, herb… If it is not sweet, salt or sour enough, you put sugar or vinegar, etc. Often, a little change can make big difference to your dish. Similarly, adjusting contrast, saturation, color temperature, etc… may (or may not) improve your photo, but ‘purism’ in photography is nonsense (!). There are many ways to get things done, just that you should know when it is enough 😀

  • I read this somewhere in forums:

    Perhaps the reason we are so easily swayed is because we continually seek the profound, only to eventually discover the banal.

    Hmm, obsessing by perfection may distract us from the fun of photography, do you think so too ? 😛

Niềm vui nho nhỏ

Arg… định viết tiếng Việt, nhưng thôi, gõ tiếng Anh cho nó đỡ… ngượng vì niềm vui bé hơi bị bé nhỏ thật :-s. Anyway, here it goes 😐

Yesterday, I just feel happy when touching the first prints of my and her photos (i.e. group “photofun“, do you remember :D?). If you were there, I can tell you the “when & how” each photo was taken as they present vividly in my mind when I hold the photo… It’s different from seeing them from a computer screen, you know.

It seems to be a good habit: to have an album of your favourite photos, doesn’t it?
