I like listen to music from a radio .
The quality of the sound is somewhere between 16-64kbps, as compared to mp3 128kbps which we usually listen at. Not to mention those “high-end” listeners , we want “lossless” quality music ripped from the CDs made from gold 24k (hey, seriously real gold !!!). And with the Internet, someone can download even the whole discography of his favorite artist in just a few hours (and may never has time to listen to all of them
, like me!). Ok, enough for an introduction – better stuffs are there, and still we (at least I) still love radio stations
… And still remember those days when I always tried to be at home at 10pm every Sunday to listen to my favorite radio station (coded as NCKBH)
, for years, until I came here…
To me, radio is not about the quality of the music, not about the songs that you can listen to – but the surprise and the feeling of discovering something new makes it worthwhile. You never know what they will play for you, and you never know that you will meet some “old friends” or find out some great songs from the program. It is not like you play your favorite songs from the CD when you know what is waiting for you… Sometimes the song can be nicer when listened from someone’s door than from your iPod, rite? “Every picture has a story”- and song does too. It can be a story of its origin or your own stories. Let the bell rings – and welcome to the past…
I got no favorite play-list in this week. Don’t know why, just don’t know what to listen to . So I try some Internet radio stations today and it’s just great
.
I put here some radio stations (Beatles & oldies, country, jazz ‘n’ blues, rock and the mix) that I created some time ago (and tuned to my preference ). To see if my tastes suited to yours

I got this this morning
“Dear Pandora listener,
Today we have some extremely disappointing news to share with you. Due to international licensing constraints, we are deeply, deeply sorry to say that we must begin proactively preventing access to Pandora’s streaming service for most countries outside of the U.S.
…
Consequently, on May 3rd, we will begin blocking access to Pandora to listeners from your country. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative.
